MTN Begins Trial Of 4G LTE Service In Nigeria

MTN Nigeria’s subsidiary, Visafone, has started the test-run of its 4G LTE internet technology service for smartphone users.

This is what most MTN users have been waiting for, and to those who have been wanting to test  the speed of 4G network. 
It is also important to note that, MTN claims that the test-run will be available for now  to existing Vistafone subscribers that have been provisioned on the 800 MHz band.
 
“When we roll-out fully, especially with our 2.6 GHz spectrum, the launch will help to enhance customer experience for our over 60 million subscribers, while ensuring greater coverage, access, affordability and ultimately a smart lifestyle for everyone,”
When Will They Roll Out Fully?
 There is no information on that but it is already Live in Ibadan, Lagos and Abuja. If you are recently migrated from Visafone CDMA network to MTN, you should have 4G Active.
