Lenovo K6 Power with 4000mah battery and Snapdragon 430 processor


Lenovo will launch the K6 Power smartphone in India on 29th November will will be available in Nigeria by December ending. The Chinese smartphone maker which recently became the second largest seller of smartphone in India has sent out media invites for the launch of the phone, titled "Witness the kickass launch of Lenovo K6 Power." Like always, the K6 will launch with the Vibe branding in India.

Lenovo had launched the K6 series of smartphones at IFA 2016 in Berlin in September. The lineup included the K6, K6 Note and the K6 Power.

The K6 Power will be a mid-range device that will sport a 5-inch full HD IPS display. Under the hood, it will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 430 chipset clocked at 1.3Ghz along with an Adreno 505 GPU. It will launch in two RAM/storage variants- a 2GB RAM/16GB storage variant and a 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant. Both can be expanded to 256GB via a microSD card. There will also be a fingerprint sensor.

As for the optics, the k6 Power will sport a 13-megapixel camera at the back coupled with LED flash and phase-detection auto-focus. On the front, it will have an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

The K6 Power will be dual-SIM and will support 4G LTE. It will be powered by a non-removable 4,000mAh battery. The phone will launch in silver, gold and dark grey colour variants.

The Lenovo K6 series will succeed the K5 series of smartphones launched in India. Lenovo launched the K5 Note for a price of Rs 11,499 (which is equivalent to #52,890 in Nigeria) with support for its ANT VR headset along with the TheaterMax technology introduced in K4 Note.
